Carlos Robinson named new Corporate Industrial Hygiene Director

We are pleased to announce that Carlos Robinson CIH, CSP is the new Corporate Industrial Hygiene Director for McWane Inc. After graduating from the University of South Alabama with a BS in Biology/Environmental Science, Carlos worked as an environmental chemist and then attended University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) to obtain a Masters of Science in Public Health with an emphasis in Industrial Hygiene and Occupational Health.

After spending eight years with 3M as a Plant Industrial Hygienist at various locations around the country, Carlos took a job as the Corporate Industrial Hygienist for the largest aggregate mining company in the United States, Vulcan Materials.  He spent eight years with Vulcan before moving on to Rheem Manufacturing as their EHS Manager with responsibilities for safety, industrial hygiene, environmental and the medical staff. After leaving Rheem, Carlos landed at Southern Research in a similar role before arriving at McWane in 2016.

Carlos is active in both the local and national chapters of American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA), local ASSE chapter and UAB School of Public Health (board member).
