Clow hydrant spotted on San Juan Islands
September 13, 2017
At the end of July, the Prendergast family took a vacation to the Pacific Northwest. The girls love seeing all the hydrants from Clow when they travel. This hydrant in particular was very cool and overlooks Friday Harbor on San Juan Island. They rode a clipper-passenger ferry that was protected by an Amerex fire extinguisher out to the island from Seattle.
There are 172 named islands and reefs in San Juan County located in the northwest corner of the U.S. between the U.S. mainland and Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada, however, the four ferry served Islands, San Juan Island, Orcas Island, Lopez Island and Shaw Island are the most populated. The mellow islands vibe and a temperate year-round climate make the islands the perfect vacation spot.
