Clow participates in inaugural Manufacturing Day
October 8, 2019
Clow Valve participated in William Penn’s inaugural Manufacturing Day last Friday. William Penn enlisted Oskaloosa manufacturing businesses to participate in plant tours, a panel discussion over lunch, exhibits and presentations. Students from William Penn Engineering toured our Metal Casting Facility and were led by assistant metal casting facility plant manager, Chris Prendergast. Students from Ottumwa High School listened to presentations about Clow presented by Metal Casting Facility HR BP Cody Davis and Metal Casting Facility Plant Manager John Grahek. Two of William Penn’s own, Nesreen Iskandrani (Clow Environmental Intern) and Alicia Jaquez (Clow Safety Intern), and other team members talked to the William Penn students and area high schools’ MFG participants. Manufacturing Day allowed WPU and area schools to participate and learn what it takes to provide the world with life-sustaining products — we cannot do any of this without our team members. We’ll always help mold young manufacturing minds, teaching them about Clow Valve. #WEARECLOW #KNOWLEDGEISPOWER
