Kennedy Valve takes part in Manufacturing Day

On October 4th Kennedy Valve both sponsored and took part in Manufacturing Day with other local manufacturers. The mission of Manufacturing Day is to address the skilled labor shortage, connect with future generations, take charge of the public image of manufacturing and ensure the ongoing prosperity of the entire industry.

Various team members from production, quality, sales and human resources spent the day talking about our industry, opportunities and the future of manufacturing with students from five counties and over twenty high schools. Students stopped by our table to make hydrants out of play-doh and share all the places they have seen hydrants with the Kennedy Valve name.
