Multi-million dollar expansion underway at McWane Ductile Ohio

McWane Ductile in Coshocton, Ohio, is getting a $17.5 million investment to expand its pipe finishing line. On the finishing line ductile iron pipe is cut, ground, pressure-tested and prepared for shipment to customers. The new line will be able to accommodate ductile iron pipe ranging in size from 14-inches to 36- inches. The expansion project includes a new 70,000 square foot building.
“This investment from our parent company, McWane Inc., demonstrates its confidence in the future of McWane Ductile,” said General Manager Tom Crawford. “It will make us more efficient, safer, and better able to meet our customers’ needs."
The engineering phase of the project is underway and work on the new building begins soon. The project is scheduled for completion in mid-2019. McWane Ductile employs 425 team members in Coshocton.
