Who doesn’t want to lose a few pounds?

People are competitive by nature, enjoy a challenge and who doesn't like to win.  McWane Ductile Utah (MDU) used those three attributes to motive team members to improve their health by losing weight and participating in a MDU sponsored Biggest Loser Competition.  Thirty-two team members contributed $10 to join the competition and MDU matched that amount dollar for dollar.  The competition ran from April 1 to June 29 with weigh-ins every two weeks.  To keep motivation high, team members had to pay $1 per pound for any weight gained during the competition.

We are pleased to announce that Church Thomas (Environmental Technician) won $470 for first place with a loss of 59 pounds and Jonathan Correa (Lead Special Linings) won $200 for second place with a 44 pound loss.
